Over the last number of months in my current job I have taken on the role of managing the social media for the company. During this time, I have learned a lot about the world of social media from creating a social media strategy to setting up accounts on each social media platform to scheduling engaging posts.
As I have enjoyed the process so much and have learned a great deal, I thought it would be beneficial to share this knowledge with you in the hopes that you find it useful. I have decided to break down what I have learned into various sections in an effort to create a social media guide by the end of the process.
Over the course of the next few months, I hope to post each of these sections on this blog. This will allow you to take in the information from that post, go off and try things out for yourself before coming back to the next post.
At the end of the process, I hope to condense this set of posts into one useful guide that you can work from. This will be available to download from the website at a later date (still trying to figure out the logistics of that).
The goal of this guide is to get you up and running with social media for your business. If you have little to no knowledge in this area and want to implement a social media strategy easily and with a relatively small cost, this is the guide for you.
The fact that you are reading this guide means that you are thinking of or have just started creating a social media presence online and would like to know more about where to go next or how to get started. I am hoping this guide will become a useful resource for you to hang on to and use as a reference guide as and when you need it.
I hope you find this guide useful and if you have any feedback or would like me to discuss anything specific please do reach out to me via the comments section of this blog.
Also, if you’ve been around here long enough, you’ll know that I published a post about Social Media Tips for Business. Why not take a read and see what you think!
